Halloween is a terrific excuse to go for a night hike. Look for nocturnal creatures, or take a UV flashlight with you to find plants and animals that fluoresce under ultraviolet light. It’s a great time to stargaze and brush up on your celestial navigation. It’s also a great time to knock on your neighbor’s door and ask for candy. 😀
